The Thousand Oaks Boulevard Specific Plan was approved by the City Council on October 25, 2011. Click the link below to access the adopted Specific Plan.
The approved Specific Plan is based on a draft that was developed by the Thousand Oaks Boulevard business owners in order to revitalize and beautify the corridor and create a pedestrian-friendly destination between Duesenberg Drive and Moorpark Road. The Specific Plan is a policy proposal to guide future development and improve the visual attractiveness of the corridor and does not include any site-specific development projects. Since adoption of the plan, it has won awards from the American Planning Association at both the cenral coast and state levels.
