Patrick Cassidy's Just Another Family Tree

  • Tickets: $65.00, $55.00
Growing up, finding a place for himself seemed like an impossible task for Patrick Cassidy. His mother was Oscar winner Shirley Jones, his dad was Tony winner Jack Cassidy and his  brothers were chart-topping teen idols David and Shaun Cassidy. What would his niche be?

Turns out the apple didn’t fall far from the family tree. Over the past 40 years, Patrick has starred on Broadway in “Aida” and “42nd Street,” originated the role of The Balladeer in Stephen  Sondheim’s “Assassins,” acted in the groundbreaking AIDS film “Longtime Companion” and guested on hit series like “ER,” “CSI” and “Law & Order.” Last fall, he was the hip-shaking Pharaoh in 5-Star Theatrical’s triumphant “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.”

Now he’s re-teaming with 5-Star to present the West Coast premiere of his new multimedia musical show, “Just Another Family Tree.” In it, Patrick looks back on his storied career and reflects on what it was like growing up a Cassidy, sibling rivalries and all. He shares tales about working with Sondheim; splitting his pants during his Broadway debut in “Pirates of Penzance”; and getting to kiss Cheryl Ladd and Patti Lupone in “Annie Get Your Gun.” He also pays a heartfelt tribute to his late brother David.

“Just Another Family Tree” is an emotion-packed evening rooted in music, life, laughter and, most of all, love.

Tickets go on sale to the public Friday, April 20th at 12noon
